This I Used to Believe

This I Used to Believe

So many wishes and beliefs have come and gone in my life. However, one belief has always stuck with me. Maybe it's time to give up on it?

Third-Person View

Third-Person View

My life hasn't been feeling "real" lately. Things happen to "me" but I personally don't feel it. Turns out, I've been viewing life in third person.

What I’m Hopeful for in This Timeline

What I’m Hopeful for in This Timeline

So here I am, on this timeline. Where can I go from here? What do I wish happens?

In This Timeline, I Am

In This Timeline, I Am

How did I end up on this branch of reality? Where am I? What could other branches even look like?

One Foot in Yesterday

One Foot in Yesterday

Moving forward isn’t always as simple as leaving the past behind. As I step into a new chapter, I still feel the pull of everything I once knew.

Beyond the Struggle

Beyond the Struggle

When the struggle ends, the story doesn't. Life goes on as I start work on a new chapter.

At 26, Life in 35 Questions

At 26, Life in 35 Questions

Can a list of 35 questions sum up a person’s life? Here's me, trying hard to encapsulate everything by answering the Proust Questionnaire.

Everything but the Kitchen Sink

Everything but the Kitchen Sink

When life takes everything but the kitchen sink, what happens with what's left behind?

Lost in Transition

Lost in Transition

Caught between "what was" and "what's next," finding clarity in the chaos of life's in-between moments.

Ready, Aim, Shoot!

Ready, Aim, Shoot!

I've thought about the hobbies that I should take as an adult. I could take the safe route and do something at home, like playing chess or making crossword puzzle-solving a hobby. Buuut, as someone who's grown so sick of being at home, I'

4,000-Day Journey

4,000-Day Journey

I've touched on this subject lightly in past posts, but I've always wondered what my life would be like at 35. I'm not sure why I decided on that number, although I feel like that age is where most people have their midlife crisis

2021's Lowest Point

2021's Lowest Point

This might sound strange, but I've always wondered what my lowest point for this year was going to be. Is it going to be stress because of work? Depression from being so lonely? A rejection from a girl I'm trying to date? Unfortunately, I eventually found

This Pass Shall, Too?

This Pass Shall, Too?

I've always scoffed at corny, faux-motivational lines such as, "This too shall pass," and other lines that offer hope to an inherently bright future, disregarding the pains of the present. It's ironic, given my stance, as I have always seen the future as

The Waiting Game

The Waiting Game

I'm just biding my time, waiting patiently, hoping, believing, trusting, and wishing that day will come.

The Lost Year

Hooray, a year has gone by since I've started working as a software engineer! It seems like it was only yesterday when I walked into the office as an employee of this company. Time has passed so fast, I can't believe a year went by! Actually,

Blogging

It's official. 5 years and 2 days ago, I started my first blog and made blogging one of my main hobbies in life. In celebration of me blogging for over half a decade, this post shall be about the various blogs I've made throughout the years,

Departures and Arrivals

Departures and Arrivals

It has been a few months since I have "landed" on this new plane of experiences in my life, and it's also been a while since I have talked about the place I have left behind—college. Today, I want to talk about the journey I

More About Me

I want to know more about my current set of friends/the people I already know. Honestly speaking, I actually believe that people are more complex than what they look like on the surface. People's actions are shaped by their history, biology, and a bunch of other factors.

The Rainy Season

The Rainy Season

As of writing this, it is now the 10th of July, 2016, and we're well on our way onto the start of the rainy season (or "monsoon season," as I like to call it). There's not much to this season in particular, other than

The Dream of a Better Tomorrow

The Dream of a Better Tomorrow

As far back as I could remember, I've always dreamt and imagined of a better tomorrow. A new world free from chaos, suffering, anguish, and evil. Back then, I could only think of somewhat simple futuristic scenery, one of which was of a car slowly gliding through a

Into the New World

Into the New World

I have a bright future ahead of me. I have the whole world ahead of me.
